Our Story

Miracles by the Bay began with a simple Sunday gathering in Miami.

For more than fifteen years, Jay Burke shared his understanding of A Course in Miracles at Unity Church. Through these weekly lectures, thousands of people were introduced to practical ways of finding Inner Peace and applying spiritual principles in everyday life.

Today, that Sunday gathering has become a global one. Through ACIM Lectures, Jay’s extensive archive can be discovered and heard by people around the world.

Who We Are

Miracles by the Bay, Inc., doing business as ACIM Lectures, is a Florida nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

We are a small, volunteer-run team dedicated to preserving, organizing, and sharing Jay Burke’s lectures. Our work includes restoring archival recordings and developing transcripts, subtitles, reading guides, synchronized text, translations, and other accessible formats.

Who Is Jay Burke?

Jay Burke brings a distinctive perspective to spiritual education.

With bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology and human behavior, along with a professional background in jury selection, Jay has a rare ability to make complex spiritual and psychological ideas understandable and relevant to everyday life.

His lectures are known for their warmth, clarity, humor, and practical approach. Rather than presenting abstract ideas alone, Jay invites listeners to consider how the principles of A Course in Miracles can be applied to relationships, challenges, forgiveness, and the search for Inner Peace.
